Nice and Le Mans shared the points in a 1-1 Ligue 1 draw at Nice. Le Mans took an early lead through Adil Bourabaa after 13 minutes, and Nice responded just before the break through Elye Wahi to level the match at 1-1.
Bourabaa converted from Jean Vercruysse's assist to put the visitors ahead, but Wahi struck in the 44th minute, with Sofiane Diop providing the assist, to send the sides in level at half-time. The second half brought bookings for Alexandre Lauray, Youssouf Ndayishimiye, Noa Boissé and Wahi, but no further goals.
Nice controlled the ball with 59% possession and had more total shots, corners and accurate passes, yet the numbers stayed close elsewhere: both sides managed two shots on target and each goalkeeper made one save. Le Mans edged the expected goals count 1.23 to 1.05 despite having less of the ball, and neither side could find a winner.
