Luciano Cosentino opened the scoring in the 23rd minute to put Wanderers ahead. Nacional's task became harder when goalkeeper Alexis Martín Arias was sent off in the 53rd minute. Joaquín Zeballos doubled the lead in the 90th minute, but Luciano Boggio pulled one back for Nacional almost immediately, setting up a tense finale.
