Montevideo City Torque powered to a 5-1 win over Montevideo Wanderers in Primera División, with Esteban Obregón's first-half brace setting them on course. Wanderers briefly pulled one back early in the second half, but Torque answered quickly and pulled clear.
Obregón opened the scoring in the 22nd minute and doubled the lead just before the break in the 43rd. Nicolás Queiroz cut the deficit for Wanderers in the 49th, yet Luka Andrade restored the two-goal cushion within five minutes. Gonzalo Montes added a fourth in the 74th and Lucas Duré completed the scoring in the 83rd.
Obregón was the standout with two goals inside the opening 43 minutes. Torque's five goals came from four different scorers, with two more late goals sealing the margin. Pablo Siles and Nicolas Cabral were both booked.
