Managua FC took the points with a dramatic 2-1 home win over Rancho Santana FC, decided by a 90th-minute goal. It was a tight contest that swung late.
Fernando Parrales gave Managua the lead in the 19th minute, but Francisco Calero levelled for the visitors right on the stroke of half-time. Both sides pushed for a winner, and it came in the final minute – an own goal that handed Managua all three points.
The hosts had slightly more of the ball (54% possession) and edged the shots on target count 8-7, but Rancho Santana were more physical, committing 20 fouls to Managua's 15. It was a scrappy game, and the late own goal proved the difference.
