HPK took a 7-4 decision over Jukurit in regulation, pulling away after a first period that settled nothing. The middle 20 minutes did the damage: a 3-1 edge there turned a tied game into a two-goal cushion that Jukurit never erased.
The teams traded through the opening frame and went to the room level at 2-2, with neither side able to hold an advantage. HPK's three-goal second put them up 5-3 after 40, and when they won the third 2-1 the margin stretched to the 7-4 final rather than narrowing.
The number that frames it is seven goals from HPK across all three periods, including two in each of the first and third and three in the second. Jukurit answered in every frame but never more than twice, and matching output period by period was the gap they couldn't close.
