JK Tabasalu beat Tartu JK Tammeka U21 3-2 in Esiliiga B. Rocco Roste struck twice as Tabasalu built a two-goal lead, and although the visitors fought back late, the home side held on. The win came despite Tabasalu having just 33% of the ball against Tammeka’s 67%.
Roste opened the scoring in the 10th minute and made it 2-0 four minutes after the restart. Roger Tennokese pulled one back for Tammeka in the 52nd minute, but Ruben Lindemann restored Tabasalu’s two-goal cushion five minutes later. Kristo Burov’s 89th-minute strike set up a tense finish, but Tabasalu saw it out.
Roste was the defining player, scoring twice from open play. Tabasalu were outplayed on possession and lost the corner count 2-5, yet they took their chances when it mattered.
