Junior Barranquilla and Jaguares de Córdoba played out a frantic 3-3 draw in the Primera A Apertura. Junior led early, Jaguares hit back, and the visitors went 3-2 up before Junior equalised in the 90th minute. Neither side could hold on to a winning position.
Jeison Suárez opened the scoring in the sixth minute, with Luis Muriel providing the assist, but Cristian Alvarez equalised for Jaguares in the ninth. Teófilo Gutiérrez put Junior back in front in the 62nd minute, only for Rafael Bustamante to level again in the 77th. Darwin Lopez made it 3-2 in the 80th, and Junior needed a late goal to rescue a share of the points.
The numbers show Junior dominated without winning: they had 57% possession, 18 shots to Jaguares' nine, and expected goals of 1.69 against 0.61. Jaguares' goalkeeper made four saves to keep his side in the match. Junior could not turn their superiority into victory.
