Stenhousemuir beat Inverness Caledonian Thistle 3-1 in the Championship, with Lewis O'Donnell scoring twice and Sam Young adding a third. Inverness briefly threatened after pulling one back, but Stenhousemuir responded quickly to keep control.
O'Donnell opened the scoring in the 23rd minute from Dale Carrick's assist. He made it 2-0 five minutes after the break, and although Liam Sole pulled a goal back for Inverness in the 52nd minute, Young restored the two-goal lead five minutes later after O'Donnell turned provider.
O'Donnell was the standout performer, contributing to all three goals with his brace and the assist for Young. Inverness had their moment through Sole but never found an equaliser, and the game also featured five yellow cards, three of them in the 70th minute.
