Gnistan took the points with a 2-1 win over Inter Turku, scoring twice before half-time and then holding on despite having a man sent off. Adeleke Akinyemi and Joakim Latonen gave the visitors a comfortable lead before Inter Turku pulled one back early in the second half.
Akinyemi opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, and Latonen doubled the lead right on the stroke of half-time. Inter Turku's Alie Conteh reduced the deficit seven minutes after the restart, but Gnistan's defence held firm. The home side pushed for an equaliser but could not find a way through.
Gnistan had to play the entire second half with ten men after Ilari Kangasniemi was shown a red card just before the break. Saku Ylätupa was also booked in the 66th minute, but the visitors managed to see out the game and secure the victory.
