IK Sirius romped to a 4-1 victory over IFK Göteborg in the Allsvenskan, powered by a fast start and clinical finishing. Two early goals inside 23 minutes set the tone, and despite Göteborg pulling one back just before the break, Sirius added two more in the second half to seal a comfortable win.
Mohamed Soumah opened the scoring in the sixth minute, and Robbie Ure doubled the lead in the 23rd. Sam Larsson reduced the deficit for Göteborg right on the stroke of half‑time, making it 2‑1. After the interval, Marcus Lindberg restored the two‑goal cushion with an assist from Isak Bjerkebo in the 71st minute, before August Ljungberg put the game to bed with a fourth in the 83rd.
Sirius made the most of their chances, registering seven shots on target from 13 attempts, despite having only 44% possession. Göteborg dominated the ball with 56% and had four shots on target, but a big chance missed and 16 fouls meant they could not mount a serious comeback.
