HC Davos beat Eisbären Berlin 8-2 in regulation, taking control with three goals in the first 12 minutes. The hosts led 3-0 after one period and never eased off.
Enzo Corvi, Valentin Nussbaumer, and Brendan Lemieux did the early damage, and Adam Tambellini and Simon Ryfors pushed Davos to 5-0 in the second. Leonhard Pfoderl got Berlin on the board in the 36th minute, but Calle Andersson made it 6-1 before the intermission. Pfoderl scored again in the 44th minute before Guus Van der Kaaij and Nico Gross sealed the 8-2 final.
Filip Zadina finished with three assists, setting up goals by Nussbaumer, Lemieux, and Gross. Davos’ eight-goal output was the evening’s defining number.
