HC Bolzano shut out KAC Klagenfurt 4-0 in regulation, and the game turned on a three-goal middle period. After a scoreless opening 20 minutes, Bolzano scored three times in the second and added one more in the third.
The first period ended 0-0 before Daniel Mantenuto opened it at 28 minutes, assisted by Daniel Gellon. Teemu Kivihalme made it 2-0 at 35 on a Dustin Gazley feed, Matt Bradley struck at 38 for 3-0 with Isaac Ratcliffe assisting, and Brad McClure capped it at 41, set up by Zachary Leslie, for the 4-0 final.
The number that frames it: four goals from four different Bolzano scorers, four different assist men, and nothing conceded across 60 minutes. Klagenfurt never found the scoresheet after conceding three times in a 10-minute stretch of the second.
