GIF Sundsvall left with a 1-0 win over IK Brage in the Superettan, the only goal arriving in the first half. It was a tight, hard-fought contest settled by a single moment of quality from Elvis Hansson.
Hansson struck in the 31st minute to give Sundsvall the lead, and that proved enough. Brage pushed forward in search of an equaliser but could not break through, leaving the away side to see the game out. Jakob Hedenquist was booked late on in the 78th minute.
With no shot or possession data to call on, the decisive contribution was Hansson's goal. Sundsvall took their one clear chance and made it stand, while Brage were left to regret their failure to find a reply.
