FK Panevėžys secured a comfortable 3-0 away win over FK Banga Gargždai in the A Lyga. Ernestas Burdzilauskas gave them an early lead, and two late goals made sure of the result.
Burdzilauskas put Panevėžys ahead in the 17th minute, but the margin stayed at one until Strahinja Kerkez doubled the lead in the 76th. A third Panevėžys goal followed in the 89th minute to wrap up the scoring.
Panevėžys were effective at key moments, scoring once in the first half and twice in the second. Banga Gargždai, for their part, never found a way back into the match and finished without a goal.
