FK Zhenys and Ulytau FC played out a 1-1 draw in the Premier League, with the home side snatching a point late on. Ulytau took the lead midway through the second half, only for FK Zhenys to rescue a draw nine minutes from time.
Bakdaulet Zulfikarov put Ulytau ahead in the 65th minute, converting from close range to make it 0-1. FK Zhenys pushed for an equaliser and got it in the 86th minute when Madi Khaseyn finished a pass from Andrija Filipović, levelling the scores at 1-1.
The match was a fairly even contest with no clear dominance from either side, though both teams contributed to a lively second half. There were four yellow cards in total, with Filipović involved at both ends — he was booked in the 62nd minute before setting up the equaliser.
