FC Twente eased to a 4-1 win at SC Cambuur in the Eredivisie, their victory built on a dominant display from start to finish. Ruud Nijstad opened the scoring in the 22nd minute and Wout Weghorst doubled the lead four minutes later, giving the visitors a firm grip before half-time.
Marko Pjaca made it 3-0 from Sondre Orjasaeter's assist two minutes after the restart, and Younes Taha added a fourth in the 82nd minute. Ilyes Hamache pulled one back for Cambuur six minutes later, but by then the game was long gone.
The scoreline was a fair reflection of Twente's control: they had 64% possession, 23 shots to Cambuur's 10 and an expected-goals count of 1.76 against 0.47. Cambuur managed only three shots on target, and their consolation did nothing to change the shape of the afternoon.
