GNK Dinamo Zagreb produced a stunning comeback to beat FC Thun 3-2 after extra time in the UEFA Champions League second qualifying round. Trailing 2-0 after 22 minutes, the Croatian side turned the tie around after Marco Bürki was sent off for Thun early in the second half.
Thun took a dream start when Brighton Labeau scored in the fourth minute, and Marco Bürki doubled their lead with a strike on 22 minutes. Dinamo pulled one back through Dion Drena Beljo in the 74th minute, and Lukas Kačavenda levelled four minutes later. With the scores level after 90 minutes, Moris Valincic headed the winner in the 112th minute to complete the turnaround.
The statistics underline Dinamo's dominance: they had 76% possession, fired 29 shots to Thun's 8, and earned 14 corners to the visitors' one. Thun, however, had taken their early chances well and were on course for a famous win until Bürki's red card turned the momentum decisively Dinamo's way.
