FC St. Gallen 1879 and FC Luzern shared four goals and a point, with Lukas Görtler's 90th-minute equaliser cancelling out Matteo Di Giusto's late strike for the visitors. The home side had led through Lukas Daschner on the stroke of half-time, only for Luzern to respond immediately after the restart.
Daschner put St Gallen ahead in the 45th minute, but Daniel Mikolajewski levelled in the 46th with Matteo Di Giusto providing the assist. Di Giusto then appeared to have won it for Luzern in the 89th minute, set up by Aurelio Oehlers, before Görtler struck in the 90th to rescue a draw.
St Gallen dominated the statistics, with 61% possession, 23 shots and 10 on target to Luzern's four, plus a higher expected-goals total. Even so, they needed a stoppage-time goal to avoid defeat, with the Luzern goalkeeper making eight saves and the visitors creating more big chances.
