FC Nordsjælland produced a dominant 5-0 victory over Valur Reykjavík at home. They were ahead inside five minutes and never let up, finishing with 66% possession and 34 shots to Valur's seven.
Hjalte Rasmussen opened the scoring in the fifth minute, and Villum Berthelsen doubled the lead right on half-time. Markus Walker made it three in the 62nd minute, before Lamine Sadio and Levy Nene struck in quick succession from the 71st to the 74th to complete the rout.
Sadio was central to the late flourish, scoring the fourth and setting up Nene for the fifth. Nordsjælland's dominance showed in their 14 shots on target and 10 corners, while Valur managed just two efforts on target. The away goalkeeper made nine saves to keep the margin from being even larger.
