FC Lugano roared to a 5-1 win over Dukagjini in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Europa Conference League. Kevin Behrens was the star, scoring a hat-trick that left the hosts with no answer.
Lugano raced into a 2-0 lead inside nine minutes, Behrens opening the scoring in the 6th minute before Daniel Dos Santos Correia doubled it three minutes later. Dukagjini pulled one back immediately through Meris Maliqi in the 10th minute, but Behrens restored the two-goal cushion in the 36th minute. After the break, Egzon Sinani made it 4-1 in the 51st minute, and Behrens completed his treble seven minutes later.
Lugano dominated the stats, holding 63% possession and creating four big chances to Dukagjini's two. Behrens stole the headlines with his three goals, but the visitors' overall control was never in doubt.
