KuPS came from behind to beat FC Lahti 2-1 in the Veikkausliiga. Lahti struck early through Otso Koskinen, but KuPS answered with two goals in the space of six first-half minutes to take control.
Otso Koskinen put Lahti ahead from Momodou Sarr's assist after two minutes. Tommi Jyry equalised for KuPS on 11 minutes, and Joslyn Luyeye-Lutumba completed the turnaround on 17 minutes, with Piotr Parzyszek providing the assist. The second half produced no further goals but did feature four yellow cards.
The defining spell was KuPS's response, turning a one-goal deficit into a lead inside the opening quarter of an hour. Joslyn Luyeye-Lutumba's goal proved the winner, and KuPS held on despite the late bookings.
