FC København recovered from an early setback to win 3-1 at Silkeborg IF in the Superliga, with Mohamed Elyounoussi scoring a hat-trick. Oliver Ross had given the hosts a 25th-minute lead, but the visitors turned the match around.
Silkeborg went ahead when Oliver Ross finished from Callum McCowatt's assist in the 25th minute. FC København levelled through Mohamed Elyounoussi, assisted by Jordan Larsson, in the 42nd, and Elyounoussi struck again three minutes later from William Clem's pass to make it 2-1 at the break. He completed his treble in the 62nd minute, Marcos López providing the assist.
Elyounoussi was the decisive figure, scoring all three of his side's goals. The underlying numbers show a tight contest: Silkeborg had 13 shots to FC København's ten and a marginally higher expected-goals total (1.24 to 1.12), but the visitors were more clinical, with six shots on target and no big chances missed.
