Jõhvi FC Phoenix took all three points with a 0-3 away win over FA Tartu Kalev in Esiliiga B. The result was effectively settled inside the opening 21 minutes, as the visitors raced into a two-goal lead and never looked back.
Matvei Minajev opened the scoring in the 16th minute to make it 0-1, and Jõhvi doubled their advantage five minutes later. A third goal arrived in the 68th minute to put the game beyond doubt. The match was punctuated by two red cards, one in each half, though the sendings-off did not alter the flow.
Jõhvi’s early efficiency did the damage, and the corner-kick count was tight at 0-1 in their favour. FA Tartu Kalev were left chasing the game from a very early stage and never found a way back.
