Excelsior produced a commanding away performance to beat SC Cambuur 4-0 in the Eredivisie. They led 3-0 by half-time and never looked back, with Noah Naujoks scoring twice in a one-sided contest.
Irakli Yegoian opened the scoring in the 17th minute from Gyan de Regt's assist. Noah Naujoks made it 2-0 on 31 minutes after Yegoian turned provider, and David Garden added a third just before the break. Naujoks completed his second goal of the afternoon in the 69th minute, with Simon Janssen assisting both of the latter goals.
The away side's dominance was reflected in the numbers: Excelsior had 19 shots to Cambuur's 11, with 10 on target, and an expected goals figure of 3.35 against 0.70. Cambuur barely threatened in return, managing only two shots on target as Excelsior's goalkeeper was forced into a single save.
