The decisive goal arrived in the 90th minute, Noah Dollenmayer turning in a delivery from Zyen Jones after Eliot Goldthorp had been booked five minutes earlier.
The home side dominated the statistics, with 64% possession and 15 shots to Pittsburgh's four, as well as 441 accurate passes to 202. Yet they needed a stoppage-time goal to settle a contest they had controlled throughout.
