Telecom Egypt beat Dayrout SC 2-0 in the 2nd Division, taking control after a goalless first half. They had much the better of the game, with 60% possession and three shots on target to Dayrout's one.
The breakthrough came in the 64th minute when Telecom Egypt went 1-0 up. They added a second goal on 78 minutes to seal the result. The only booking of the match was a yellow card shown on 45 minutes.
Telecom Egypt dominated the attacking numbers, earning nine corners to Dayrout's four and four shots off target to two. Dayrout's single effort on target was the home side's only real moment of threat.
