Duijvestijn and Smit each had a goal and an assist, and Darmstadt’s all-round numbers reflected a narrow edge. They held 53% possession, had 13 shots to Jena’s 10, created three big chances to one, and their keeper made four saves, while Jena still matched them with five shots on target.
