Chattanooga Red Wolves beat Greenville Triumph 3-1 in USL League One. Two goals before half-time put the hosts in control, and a third in the 85th minute made sure of the result before Greenville’s late reply.
Michael Knapp opened the scoring in the 31st minute. Pedro Hernandez doubled the lead in the 45th with an assist from Omar Hernandez, and Tobi Adewole made it 3-0 in the 85th. Greenville pulled a goal back in the 90th minute, but it was too late to change the outcome.
Greenville’s 56% possession, 154 accurate passes and five total shots all pointed to them being the more dominant side, but they ended with no shots on target. Chattanooga’s three goals were shared by Knapp, Hernandez and Adewole.
