Burton Albion beat AFC Wimbledon 4-1 in League One after falling behind to an early goal. Jayden Stockley headed the visitors into the lead, but Burton struck three times before and just after the break to take control. Caylan Vickers added a fourth late on to complete a comfortable win.
Stockley opened the scoring in the 18th minute, assisted by James Tilley, and AFC Wimbledon led until George Evans equalised for Burton on 28 minutes. Alistair Smith turned the game around on 34, Charlie Webster made it 3-1 on 46, and Vickers added the fourth on 76 with an assist from Sulyman Krubally. Andy Yiadom and Jack Armer were shown yellow cards in the second half.
The scoreline was not a reflection of the overall play. AFC Wimbledon had more shots, 17 to Burton's 10, a higher expected-goals count and more corners, but Burton were the more clinical side, converting four of their five shots on target. Both goalkeepers made two saves as Burton took the points despite being outplayed in several key areas.
