Burnley came from behind to draw 1-1 in the Championship, with Ugo Raghouber's second-half equaliser cancelling out Aidan Morris's early opener for Middlesbrough. The hosts had to work hard for their point as Middlesbrough controlled much of the contest.
Middlesbrough took the lead in the 23rd minute when Morris finished after Sebastian Berhalter's assist. Burnley responded after the break as Raghouber levelled from Zeki Amdouni's assist in the 54th minute, and neither side could find a winner after that.
Middlesbrough were the more dominant side on the numbers: they had 58% possession, an expected-goals total of 1.22 against Burnley's 0.55, and created three big chances, all of which they missed. Burnley had the better of the shot count with 11 attempts to 10 and forced Middlesbrough's goalkeeper into two saves, while Burnley's goalkeeper made one. The draw left both sides with a point from a contest Middlesbrough would feel they controlled.
