Brøndby IF took the points with a 2-0 win at AC Horsens, goals from Marcus Younis and Mikkel Kupijbida settling the contest. The visitors were clinical, and although Horsens had more of the ball, they could not turn it into clear chances.
Younis opened the scoring in the 12th minute, meeting Mats Köhlert's assist. Kupijbida doubled the lead on the hour mark, and Brøndby managed the game from there. Horsens pushed forward but without creating a big chance.
Brøndby created two big chances to Horsens' none and posted a higher expected-goals figure despite 48% possession. Their goalkeeper made three saves to preserve the clean sheet, while Horsens' keeper was called into action just once.
