Broadmeadow Magic thrashed Charlestown Azzurri 8-0 in the NPL, Northern NSW, with a one-sided performance. Four first-half goals put the result beyond doubt before another four after the break sealed the biggest possible margin.
Magic took the lead in the 13th minute and added goals in the 31st, 39th and 45th to lead 4-0 at the interval. They then struck twice in four minutes, at 55 and 59, and completed the rout with goals at 86 and 87.
Broadmeadow's dominance was clear in their 60% possession, and they turned that control into eight goals. Charlestown were left with nothing to show for their 40% share of the ball.
