BK Skjold cruised into the next round with a 6-0 away win over Maribo BK in the DBU Pokalen first round. The tie was effectively settled in the opening half-hour, with two quick goals putting the visitors in complete control before the break.
Kasper Laage-Petersen opened the scoring in the 24th minute, and Mikkel Terkelsen doubled the lead just two minutes later. Laage-Petersen added his second and Skjold's third shortly after the restart, before Jalloh Ibrahim, Niels Mathias Toft and Kamper Schlander completed the rout with further strikes in the second half.
Kasper Laage-Petersen was the standout player, scoring twice in a one-sided afternoon. Maribo offered little in response, and with no cards shown, BK Skjold's victory was as smooth as the scoreline suggests.
