Barnet beat Salford City 3-1 in League Two, taking command with two first-half goals and adding a third late to seal the win. Salford's 90th-minute consolation came too late to change the result.
Oisin Gallagher opened the scoring on 24 minutes after Kabongo Tshimanga's assist, and Charlie Lakin made it 2-0 before half-time. Tshimanga then scored himself on 87 minutes from Nnamdi Ofoborh's pass, before Adebola Oluwo pulled one back for Salford in the final minute with Joe Powell assisting.
Barnet were sharper in front of goal despite seeing less of the ball: Salford had 54% possession and completed more passes, but Barnet had 20 shots to Salford's 12 and seven on target to three. Salford missed all three of their big chances, while Barnet scored one of their two.
