AZ Alkmaar beat ADO Den Haag 2-0 in the Eredivisie. Two goals in seven second-half minutes settled a match that had been goalless at the break. AZ created the clearer chances throughout.
Ro-Zangelo Daal put AZ ahead in the 61st minute, and Calvin Stengs doubled the lead seven minutes later with Kees Smit providing the assist. The second goal came quickly after the opener and left ADO Den Haag with too much to do. Juho Kilo was booked in the 74th minute.
