Allison Safira pulled Juventude level in the 36th minute, scoring from Rodrigo Sam's assist. Luis Mandaca put the home side ahead in the 45th minute. Guilherme Lopes set up João Pedro Silva's 88th-minute equaliser to earn a point for Atlético Goianiense.
Juventude dominated the underlying numbers, with 52% possession, 19 shots to 16 and an expected-goals count of 1.54 against 0.70. They also created three big chances to Atlético's one, yet their only reward was a point after failing to see the game out.
