FC Vaduz took control of this UEFA Europa Conference League qualifier with a comfortable 2-0 win away to Atlètic Club Escaldes. Goals in each half gave the Liechtenstein side a solid advantage heading into the second leg.
Dejan Đokić opened the scoring in the ninth minute, finishing from Dominik Schwizer's assist to put the visitors ahead. The hosts pushed for an equaliser but were unable to find a way through, and Denis Simani sealed the win for Vaduz with a second goal in the 73rd minute.
Vaduz rarely looked troubled despite a flurry of late yellow cards. Đokić, who scored the opener, was also booked in stoppage time, while Atlètic Club Escaldes saw three players cautioned across the match.
