América de Cali won 1-0 at Once Caldas in Primera A Apertura, with Daniel Rosero Valencia scoring the only goal in the 71st minute. The visitors controlled much of the contest, and any hopes Once Caldas had of a comeback were damaged by Jefry Zapata's sending-off just before the interval.
