CheckMomentum vs Sofascore Attack Momentum: what's the difference

In short

Both charts show which side is pressing. CheckMomentum adds match dominance over the whole game and, on the same page, where the betting money is going while the match is on.

What Sofascore's Attack Momentum is

In Sofascore's own words, Attack Momentum is "a visual graph that shows which team is on the attack and when", and it "rises and falls in real time". It is built from passes into dangerous areas, shots on and off target, free kicks, corners and other key events, and counter-attacks.

What CheckMomentum is

CheckMomentum is CheckLive's live pressure chart. The flame, a number and a word show how hard a side is pressing right now; the bars show it minute by minute. Below the chart, match dominance shows which side was on top for longer and how long the game was even. A goal is 100, and a goal under review is marked until it's confirmed.

What CheckMomentum doesn't do

It is not a prediction and not xG: the chart shows pressure, not chance quality or the result. The money alongside is the share of stakes across the part of the market we see — not a probability. We don't take bets and we don't tell anyone to bet.
