Gyeongju KHNP went in front after 20 minutes and doubled their lead on 35. They made it 3-0 three minutes after the restart, before Yangpyeong FC began their response with a goal on 53. Further strikes in the 75th and 90th minutes completed the comeback and levelled the match at 3-3.
Yangpyeong FC's persistence was the decisive story, as they recovered from a three-goal deficit without any personal scorers recorded. Three yellow cards, shown at 57, 59 and 85, were the only bookings in a contest that swung sharply in the second half.
