Waltert raced to a 4-0 lead in the first set with breaks in games two and four. Romero Gormaz briefly stopped the rot by breaking back at 5-2, but Waltert immediately broke again to seal the set. The second set followed a similar pattern: breaks at 2-0 and 4-0, then a quick exchange of breaks before Waltert closed it out with a break at 5-1.
