Vukić A. edged Galarneau A. 7-6, 7-6 in a tight two-setter at the Granby Men's Singles, winning both tiebreaks to take the match. The key was Vukić's rock-solid serve – he saved six of seven break points faced, never dropped serve once, and converted his only break chance in the opening set at 1-0.
The first set saw an early exchange: Vukić broke at 1-0, Galarneau broke back at 1-1, and no further breaks occurred before Vukić won the tiebreak. The second set was even more serve-dominated, with no break points at all; Vukić again prevailed in the tiebreak to close out the victory.
Vukić's serving stats told the story: he hit seven aces (all in the first set), won 79 percent of first-serve points overall, and saved both break points he faced in the second set.
