Kalmar HC won 6-2 in Visby, and the middle period settled it: a 3-0 second turned a one-goal game into a rout. Everything was decided in regulation, with Kalmar scoring the last four of the game's first six goals.
Joakim Thelin put the hosts ahead at 7, but Tommy Bergsland answered at 10 off a Reece Vitelli feed, and Valdemar Johansson made it 1-2 at 20 with Jonathan Andersson assisting. The second period was the turn — Viktor Klingsell at 28, Viktor Smeds at 33 and Elliot Ekmark at 38 pushed it to 1-5 after 40. Visby/Roma got one back at 54, Kalmar restored the margin at 56.
Klingsell was the game's most productive skater with a goal and an assist, the only Kalmar player with two points. The visitors scored in all three periods; Visby/Roma managed one in the first and one in the third, none in between.
