FK Sirijus left it late to secure a 2-1 away win over Viltis Vilnius in II Lyga. They took the lead in the first half and stretched it after the hour, before a quick home reply made the closing stages uncomfortable.
Sirijus opened the scoring in the 24th minute and doubled their advantage in the 61st. Viltis Vilnius responded just five minutes later, pulling one back in the 66th, but Sirijus held on to take the points.
Neither side won a corner all match, a sign of a scrappy contest. Sirijus scored twice, Viltis once, and that proved the decisive difference.
