Veres Rivne and Zoria Luhansk shared the points in a 1-1 Premier League draw. Veres took the lead midway through the first half, only for Zoria to level within nine minutes, and neither side could find a winner after that.
Vladyslav Sharay put Veres ahead in the 22nd minute, turning in André Gonçalves’ delivery. Zoria replied on 31 minutes when Domagoj Jelavić converted Anton Glushchenko’s assist to make it 1-1.
With no more goals after the opening half-hour, the contest tightened as it went on. Six yellow cards were shown in all, beginning with Igor Kharatin in the 43rd minute and continuing through a stop-start second half.
