Vegalta Sendai came from behind to beat Shonan Bellmare 1-3 in J.League 2. Shonan struck first through Hiroto Yamada after nine minutes, but Sendai responded with three unanswered goals to take full control.
Hidetoshi Takeda levelled for the visitors on 21 minutes, and Kokoro Kobayashi put them ahead on 45. Motohiko Nakajima added a third in the 75th minute to settle a match that also featured four yellow cards.
Shonan's early lead did not last long, as Sendai's quick equaliser and the goal right before half-time shifted the game decisively. The away side finished strongest, with Nakajima's late goal sealing a comfortable margin.
