Östers IF swept aside Varbergs BoIS with a convincing 3-0 victory in the Superettan. All three goals came in the second half, as Östers took control after a goalless first period.
Filip Olsson broke the deadlock in the 51st minute, finishing from Hannes Bladh Pijaca's assist. Linus Carlstrand doubled the lead in the 68th minute from Samuel Burakowsky's pass, before Noah Söderberg sealed the win with a late third goal in the 86th minute, set up by William Thellsson.
The match saw four yellow cards, with Oscar Uddenäs and Isak Vidjeskog booked before half-time, and Musa Jatta and Dennis Olsson cautioned in the second half. Östers' three different scorers highlighted their attacking depth, while Varbergs were unable to find a response.
