Austin FC II beat Vancouver Whitecaps FC II 4-1 in MLS Next Pro after scoring twice before half-time and twice more after the break. Stefan Dobrijevic opened the scoring in the 23rd minute and Diego Abarca doubled the lead in the 45th.
Dobrijevic added his second in the 54th minute from Marcel Ruszel's assist, and Djakaria Barro made it 4-0 in the 64th from Lisboa Feliciano's pass. Cristiano Bruletti pulled one back for Vancouver three minutes later, but no further scoring followed.
Austin edged possession 52% to 48% and, although they had fewer total shots (14 to 16), they put seven on target to Vancouver's four and created five big chances to one. Dobrijevic's brace and Abarca's goal and assist were the standout contributions.
