The opener was settled by breaks in the fifth game, at 3-2, and the seventh, at 5-2, despite Zverev serving five double faults in that set alone. The second set stayed level until Zverev broke in game 11 for 6-5 and served it out, having saved both break points he faced across the match in that set. The third was one-way traffic: breaks at 2-1, 4-1 and 6-1 closed it out.
The cleanest number belongs to Zverev's serve — 45 of 58 first-serve points won (78%) and not a single break conceded. Van de Zandschulp actually held a slight edge in second-serve percentage (93% in) but won just 10 of those 29 points.
