Stjernen Hockey beat Vålerenga IF 3-2 in overtime. The visiting side took an early lead and then won the extra session to settle a tight friendly.
Stjernen opened the scoring in the first period for a 1-0 edge. Vålerenga levelled in the second, and after each team scored once in the third, the game reached overtime tied 2-2. Stjernen produced the only goal of OT to secure the result.
The overtime period was the difference, turning a 2-2 regulation tie into a one-goal road win. Stjernen outscored Vålerenga 1-0 in the extra frame to close out the game.
